Recently, rapper Wiz Khalifa pleaded guilty to a drug charge in Texas after he was arrested in El Paso when officials discovered marijuana on him at an airport.
However, the rapper dodged jail time for the incident, in which Transportation Security Administration agents discovered that he had a half a gram of marijuana in a bag, as he was only convicted of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Billboard, Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, entered into a plea, agreeing to pay $500 for the drug paraphernalia charge. He was in the possession of less than two ounces of marijuana when he was randomly screened at the El Paso International Airport, and was facing jail time if convicted.
